Laura Gottlieb believes divorce is a difficult journey, and her role is to guide her clients toward a new and more positive chapter in their lives. Laura works to gain a deep understanding of the challenges her clients face to help them realize their vision for the future. She prides herself on being able to assist clients in sorting through the confusion and uncertainty the divorce process can cause, by acting as a true partner every step of the way.
Laura has in-depth experience handling cases relating to parenting time and responsibilities. Her expertise is also in distribution of marital and nonmarital assets, maintenance and child support. While in law school, Laura clerked at a prestigious Chicago family law firm, where she gained valuable experiences in legal research and procedure.
Being a champion for the underdog is something that is ingrained in Laura’s personal and professional philosophy, and she works tirelessly to give her clients peace of mind. In her free time, she volunteers at Chicago Animal Care and Control helping homeless animals.
Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running, cooking, and being outside with her dogs.
